Today we talked about a Narrative. We had to make a 3 paragraph story based off the poem. The poem was about a 8 year old being called a nigger. Class today was nice the 3 paragraph took a while but we got it done. I completed it but it didn't turn in due the bell ringing and I didn't have enough time to send it in. I hope tomorrow is better.

Today we continued on writing the essay from yesterday. We finished the essay with 3 paragraphs and information on why the US currency should be exchanged. Tomorrow I'm sure we are going to continue refreshing our minds for the EOC. That's it for today until tomorrow.

Today we talked about if we should replace or keep the people that are on the US currency. I answered we shouldn't because most of everyone doesn't know what those people did for us. Our main discussion today was talking about two essays that talked about how the people that are on the US currency helped and how they didn't do anything for the country. Then we are also preparing for our finals which is next week. 

Today we continued with the presentations. We went through letter 16 to 18. Letter 16 was about how it's ok to express yourself. Letter 17 was about don't be haunted by the past. Letter 18 was about how money don't change some things. These 3 letters explained to me why it's ok to be who I am, keep going, and always go with my heart.

Today we continued with the Alice walker presentations. We continued with letter 14 and 15. Both letters were interesting and nice plots to it. Lik letter 14 was basically about some people care about others more than they care about you. Letter 15 was about even when you are tired, keep working. Tomorrow we will continue with the rest of the presentations.
